Village Hotel Farnborough, Farnborough (Hampshire)

My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms were nice and a good size with comfortable beds, although the air conditioning unit outside the window could be noisy. The service was friendly and efficient, but a bit unhelpful with connecting to wifi in the room. The location was convenient for the Farnborough Conference Center, with some chaos near the kitchen walkway. Dining needed improvement, with slow service and limited options. The facilities were decent but could use some enhancements.

The room was sold as a family room, but it turned out to be extremely cramped, just a double room with a couple of single mattresses thrown on the floor. Despite this, the restaurant was top-notch, clean, and comfortable with a cosy feel. It was a pleasant surprise to see an iron and board as standard equipment.

The rooms are very nice, spacious, and clean, but the layout with the pop-up beds can be inconvenient for movement. The service from the Receptionist named Ashley was friendly and helpful, but late-night adjustments were noisy. The location is good with easy access to shopping venues, but lacking external attractions. The dining experience was average with some issues in service, though the value for money is notable. The hotel offers good facilities for guests.
